Water-Energy-Food Nexus in Arabic Language

In response to a request from The Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit GmbH (GIZ), Dr. Rabi Mohtar and Bassel Daher coauthored a brief that provides a broad definition and general introduction of the Water-Energy-Food Nexus in the Arabic Language. The brief will be used as an introduction to the topic for the League of Arab States (LAS). TypoSoil® System

Faculty and students helped the team celebrate the arrival of the TypoSoil® System, one of only three such devices in the world. The device simultaneously measures both the shrinkage and water potential curves of 8 soil samples at the same time. The soil shrinkage curve measures soil specific volume with reference to the gravimetric water content.
